03 / RevOps

The infrastructure underneath the go-to-market.

CRM architecture, data, routing, lifecycle and reporting — built so marketing, sales and operations are working from the same information.

Clarafold's RevOps service designs and builds the operating infrastructure behind B2B go-to-market — CRM architecture, lifecycle stages, data enrichment, lead routing, reporting and GTM automation — so marketing, sales and leadership work from the same numbers. It is delivered as a fixed sprint, a project or ongoing support.

Delivery model: Sprint / Project / Ongoing

Get Started

The Problem

Build the systems, workflows and infrastructure that keep marketing, sales and data connected.

Every tool added to a disconnected system adds another place for data to disagree with itself. Automation applied to a broken process produces broken output faster. The sequence matters: connect first, then automate.

How It Works

What we actually do.

01

Map before building

We map the existing system, the data flows and where information is lost between functions.

02

Fix the model, then the tooling

Lifecycle stages, definitions and ownership get agreed before anyone configures a workflow.

03

Automate the repeatable only

Work that is genuinely repetitive gets automated. Work that needs judgment stays with a human.

04

Make reporting reconcile

The numbers in the board deck and the numbers in the CRM should be the same numbers.

Example Workflow

Lead Enrichment Workflow

Enriches incoming or sourced leads and routes structured information into the CRM without manual handling.

  1. Define the required fields. Decide what must be present for a record to be actionable. Enrich to that standard, not to whatever the vendor returns.
  2. Normalise on entry. Standardise company names, domains, titles and geography before anything is written to the CRM.
  3. Enrich and verify. Append firmographic and contact data, then verify deliverability before the record is usable.
  4. Deduplicate against existing. Match on domain and contact to avoid creating a second record for an account already in play.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask.

What is RevOps?

Revenue operations (RevOps) is the function that owns the systems, data, processes and reporting shared by marketing, sales and customer success. Its job is to make those teams operate as one revenue system rather than three sets of tools with separate definitions.

Which CRMs do you work with?

HubSpot and Salesforce, plus the enrichment, sequencing and automation tools connected to them.

Where does a RevOps engagement start?

With a map of the current system: data flows, lifecycle definitions, ownership and the points where information is lost between functions. Configuration starts only after the model — stages, definitions and ownership — has been agreed.

What should and shouldn't be automated?

Automate work that is repetitive and rule-based: enrichment, normalisation, deduplication, routing and alerts. Keep work that needs judgment — qualification, account strategy, messaging — with people. Automating a broken process only produces bad output faster.

When marketing and sales disagree about the numbers, it is rarely a reporting problem. It is usually a model problem.
